Just had a delightful conversation with Jude Treder-Wolff for her podcast Improv in Real Life. Can't wait for it to come out!

Second post today, because I am on a roll. If u are feeling overwhelmed, are glued to ur phone & the socials, and are feeling depleted & hopeless...get this book. It is beautifully written. I am right in the middle of reading it. Thinking of making it suggested reading for my climate comedy course.

Got my second (seasonal) office going this morning. Going through the lovely, powerful stuff I have been learning in the Human Systems Dynamics Professional certification course. Extraordinary body of work and so aligned with what I have been doing. Happy morning everyone xx

Our sold out Sustainable Stand Up course show at UCL (University College London). Been running this compassionate climate comedy course for 10 years. Delightful to work with these undergrad and grad students. Pic of me by Fang, one of the students.

Just came back from exploring Cambridge with my fella. It was here that he cracked the science of how to shift slash-and-burn farmers in the humid tropics to regenerative, organic agroforestry. The Inga Foundation work is so extraordinary & healing for the planet.

I am sitting w a question inspired by Glenda Eoyang in our Human Systems Dynamics course here in Singapore. What happens in the sustainability space if we stop trying to force things into the stable space, but instead get good at making wise actions and adapting in the unstable & emergent space?

Felt drawn to make this aide-memoire for chapter one’s Training in the preliminaries’ :) Who else has worked with these slogans?

Cold enough to have skaters on the lake today. The upside of all this uncertainty is my meditation practice and nature communing have gone up. What are you doing to keep yourself grounded and centred? Expansive even?

When you find out that the compassionate climate comedy course you created and have been running for 10 years is eerily resonant with two seminal (10th and 12th century) Buddhist texts. Who here is ready to ‘resolve to begin’? :)

Today's self-care involved padding around the corner to my favourite local cafe, and having a matcha latte, a piece of divine espresso cake, and reading the book on compassion that arrived today in the post. Looking for gems to put in my course starting 15 April. :)

If you're feeling constricted, filled with despair, and stressed - gentle reminder: that we are made of this.

Have I mentioned how much I adore Anna and Vivien and their work to support documentary films? Fab event today at Rotes Rathaus in Berlin. Got to ask the filmmakers about their practice with genuine lightness. My q got an applause. Happy.

Snowy Berlin, on my way to morning yoga this morning. And before my smooshy/pully session w/ the osteopath. It is amazing what increased organ and diaphragm mobility does for the referred back pain. I am wondering about that metaphor in organisations, referred pain from elsewhere. And how to help.

Today’s walk. The lake is part frozen. And when I saw it I thought, since the pandemic, so are we. At least I am. How are you gently thawing yourself these days? Especially when so much wants us to stay frozen? 🌸

So, if you have a salary or things are going well financially for you, one beautiful thing you can do to help people is to book yourself onto a course that is healing and transformational, especially those run by self employed people. Because most of us have had a huge drop in the last 6 months.

Good morning everyone! Almost time for my shift at the Berlin SuperCoop, where I get to play 'grocery store' and specifically 'cash register' for 3-hours a month and giggle with my fellow humans while I ask them what kind of apple that is.
