There is not a single politician, and very few businessman that can claim to have never, or never appeared to have "stabbed somebody in the back". It is human nature to favor oneself and their own interests. It doesn't make somebody a bad person if they can not predict every result of an action.

The funny part of this story is that they've already paid for this alcohol. It won't be effected by any tariffs. This is just a childish tantrum.

It is possible to work with a country to hold a line in the sand and not support them as an ally. Trump is a deal maker, and if he can get something from Putin that benefits the US, he will, but that doesn't make him a friend of Putin.

Is it not even a possibility in your mind that one could support Trump, and simultaneously not support Ukraine or Russia? Or is the brainwashing just to deep to break thru?

Well, the plan isn't to run these agencies as they are currently doing business. The plan is to overhaul, streamline, and, in some cases, dismantle the whole organization.

Another win for the Donald.

Trump winning again.

You know this was all a money laundering scam, right? You can't get little boys pregnant, so why use a condom?

To be fair, most people that are in favor of the US remaining in NATO, also lament how much the US spends on defense. As it currently sits, a large portion of the defenses provided by NATO are a direct result of the US military being foward deployed all over the world.

Doesn't matter. There is no appreciable barrier to obtaining a state ID card if you are a citizen. In many states, you can get an ID even if you are not a citizen.

Hunter actually is a criminal, and by extension, Joe and Barack, but you do you.
December 4, 2024 at 3:51 PM
It's ironic. 20 years ago the Democrats were as militantly anti war and anti arms manufacturing as they are now pro both. At this rate the next flip flop will be them becoming radically pro life.

Defying Congress is not an official function. Spending is entirely the purview of the House of Representatives, which includes aid and military funding.

Getting the required id for those who should have it is not a difficulty. Unless you believe that certain races aren't as capable, which is the standard argument against voter id. This is, of course, a racist belief and should be demonized by all.

Have to have voter ID to be certain only the legal voters are voting.

Those dates kinda prove there was an influence peddling scheme going on when Hunter was on the Barisma board, and the "Big Guy" was a real thing getting real money from foreign influencers as the VP

Cheating and gaming the system is how Biden became president. You're just mad that the GOP did it better than the Dems this time.
December 3, 2024 at 5:10 PM
The problem with this pardon and, of course, the whole trial thing is that Hunter actually did commit crimes, but just like Al Capone, could only be charged with technicality crimes, because the rest of the system would have been RICOd into jail as well.

Lame duck means he's not gonna have to run again. That makes it more likely he will do things that are unpopular by certain groups.

Cutsey time is over. He's putting people in place that will push back.
