There are about 32,000 dog attacks against humans in England and Wales per year. There are around 2.1 million violent offences by humans.

I totally get it. I don't expect people to accept them in all environments. It's just that it was one of the places where it's generally accepted that dogs are allowed off lead.

This wasn't someone who wasn't familiar with dogs. She was just angry that she might "drool" on her, in her words. And I called her back in straight away.

For my dog being friendly? Nah I'm not embarrassed about that. I called her back over to me, and she responded immediately. Don't want dogs to approach you don't come to the place everyone walks their dogs.

I generally try to keep an eye out for anyone who seems worried about dogs because I don't want them to worry about my dogs. And the weird thing is I've met loads of people who have started to get over their fear of dogs because they feel safe around my dogs.

Like I get it, it's fine, you're allowed to be scared of dogs, and I'll get my dogs to leave you alone if you are. But don't swat my dog in the face for trying to be nice to you, she doesn't understand.

The priorities of the judiciary in this country are so fucked.
