I haven’t posted much on here but I traveled to Kyrgyzstan recently. What a surprisingly beautiful country in many ways. Eighty percent of it is mountainous which is why it’s referred to as “the Switzerland of Central Asia.”

As I lay here awake at 4:30 am unable to get back to sleep, worried about the state of the country and world, I wonder how much collective sleep we’re all losing due to the autocrat in the White House.

I’m trying out Bluesky. I’m also on Threads. In its heyday, Twitter helped me through a difficult time while I was caregiving for my mother. The travel & photo chats, the likeminded people, the interesting content, and the breaking news. It was a great, novel platform back then. X is not for me.
