My dad bought Leo a Yoto for Christmas and it arrived today and I’m obsessed. It has a little pixel display and I’m soo excited for the night/wake routines and there are so many super cool features 😭 I’m gonna record myself reading his favorite books to listen to, amongst many other things!!!

Santa was a success!! Leo did not care to meet him or Mrs Claus lol but they were great, and he didn’t cry!

Target has their store brand toys for BOGO 50% off and there are some really good sets that would
go perfectly with Leo’s birthday and Christmas stuff that he would LOVE (he’s getting a wooden supermarket set!) but I’m worried it’s gonna be Too Much Stuff and I think I need reassurance
Ice Cream Shop Playset. It has a stand, scoops of ice cream, cones, a cup, popsicles, and a menu. $25. Musical Shopping Cart. It’s tiny and adorable and he happily pushed it around Target with us for 30 minutes today. Baking Play Set. combination plastic and wood. It has a baking sheet, cookie cutters, a rolling pin, cut table butter and eggs, etc etc. My child is genuinely obsessed with baking. Kitchen Sink Play Set. It has a drying rack, lots of dishes, a cleaning brush, a mini stovetop, and the faucet actually runs water if you put water in the sink. Leo has been obsessed with water and cleaning and sinks for a year.

this is how he was dressed. those pants are actually overalls, and he had a long sleeve onesie on. hood up once we were off the train. no mittens because he was eating a snack. stroller canopy down to block the wind when we stepped outside. he was plenty warm!!

As the former owner of this black pomeranian, I believe this with all my heart. Leo was a raccoon for his first Halloween to match his doggy brother and Leo’s stuffed raccoon is named after the dog, Toby.
A very fluffy black Pomeranian with grey markings on his face that very much resemble a raccoon. His neighborhood nickname was “rocket raccoon” or “little raccoon” because he does, in fact, look a LOT like a raccoon. Or I guess raccoons look a lot like him?

This book was basically my bible when Leo was 0-9 months old, but I haven’t consulted it in over a year. I finally decided to see what advice it has for screaming 2 year olds at bedtime and it had maybe the most obvious suggestion I’ve ever seen: bribery. How have I not considered bribing my son??

We got to go home!!! He’s still sick, who knows how much longer it’ll last, but he’s acting more like himself and keeping down fluids. He just has to stay hydrated.
