Menus with and without prices…

I was eating at a fancy restaurant with my 17-year old child. Guess who got the menu with prices??? As if they were paying for dinner. 🙄

Shame on me for not being aware when this actually happened. I feel like my trauma brain is bundling ALL of the bad news into a singularity of trauma - and yet even I, a smart, purportedly educated, liberal member of our society, react to every piece of news like this as if it’s fresh.
