Striving to be the person my judgmental chihuahua knows I am not.
I ordered a projector, over bed table, and a split keyboard. We’ll see if projecting the laptop on the ceiling works! Hope today is treating you better. 💐

So sorry, having a heck of a week over here too! BTW, someone in my family is having debilitating back pain and can only lay in bed. Do you have a recommendation for a laptop holder that works while lying down flat? Hope your misery lessens. Wishing you a cool breeze and comfort!

Truly the only appropriate response. Rest in Power, Fred Willard!

It’s so bad. Weird how Google built itself a niche for fast and accurate searches and now they and other tech giants are actively making it terrible and inconvenient

Fellow US residents: beyond what’s in this thread, are you noticing more relationship strain showing up in social situations in this political moment? If so, what kind of behaviors/patterns do you observe in yourself & others?

Another very cool thing this museum did that I haven’t seen before were braille displays with replicas of some of the statuary so that people could touch them. That’s a great idea and more places should do it.

Looks like he took the dice out of his loin cloth and kicked them to the side because he was afraid to show them to anyone. @ityslmemes.com

Exactly, I was thinking of art purposes as well!

Also a good addition to the emergency “go bag” for natural disasters.

I would want to know if getting a diagnosis would result in my personal info going into a registry. Is it mandatory for providers to do so? And I would also want options: stop the evaluation/go through 99% and just skip the formal stamp etc.

I agree with others that a diagnosis back then would not have provided resources or solidarity. Giving my former self a pat on the back for figuring out how to cope, even if innately.

Diagnosed with depression in teen years, anxiety in late 20s, adhd in late 30s, and recently suspecting asd in 40s. Each feels like an onion layer peeled back, getting closer to the core. Leaving behind self judgment and shame over feeling like a failure at adulthood.
