In fairness, I grew up this way and don't feel like I CAN let my children have the same free rein I did because people have literally called Social Services on me for doing that. So yeah, you learn pretty quickly that society no longer allows that.

Asheville/Buncombe county is straight up blue and they need the help more than most. Luckily, the NC DOT and private organizations have been helping there.

They (magats in my area) will not see that it's Trump that did this, just as they couldn't be convinced before the election that it was Congress that needed to provide the money. Of course, I get to suffer along with them. Not surprised by this, of course.

In November, when I realized that my brother and sisters (and their spouses) had voted for him again... I thought of this. I also put them in a restricted group/unfriended them on all my social media because they are the type of people that would turn us in "to save our kids".
