That’s not at all what libertarians mean by their “taxation is theft” mentality, though. They literally mean they don’t want to pay taxes because they don’t believe that government as a service should exist except to help them ensure their “freedoms”.

I’m not sure what you mean by this since red states receive far more federal tax $- provided for mostly by blue states!- than blue states do.

Before we even had kids we’d agreed that no matter what our kids would not play football. Too high a risk. And my husband played for 10 years. The culture of football is dangerous.

Hoarding wealth is the same as hoarding animals, garbage, and anything else. It’s a sickness that needs to be addressed -for them specifically- first and foremost by our tax code. Tax the rich.
