I’m a lot tired of being corrected when I use the term fascist as shorthand for the far-right, hyper-nationalist, militaristic, autocratic, authoritarian oligarchy bundle in our basket

Youtube isn’t really “social”. There’s a lot of valuable content there but absolutely not for news/community.

It’s such a sad day. The fun is over.

The way we would have had no idea about COVID, long COVID, Palestine, the orbs, the dior bags…I could go on and on about the ways our media and legislators are failing us. And we know why. Average citizens are just capital extraction units until we’re no longer able.

I learned so much from TikTok about my body. I can explain the HPA axis better than my own doctors. I met people and creators who were a major catalyst in me changing my life.

I am going to miss it. I want nothing to do with meta.

I deleted all the meta apps. This is all giving me such a bad feeling. Bluesky, mastodon, and YouTube for me now
