Is Starmer now the only person in the UK that doesn't understand he's a front man for a project that has little to do with him? Do we think there's ANYthing that could bring that to his attention??

Good God he is so tedious. His self-admiration oozes outs of every utterance in this piece, he's so impressed by what he perceives as his own brilliance and his name on the lips of the powerful. Please let this be the final nail in the coffin that keeps him out of public life for the rest of his.

'We knew he did this corrupt and shady thing and this corrupt and shady thing and that there was more to come out...but we didn't imagine it would be THIS". For most of us, his past alone would rule him out of being fit for public office. For Starmer and McSweeny, not so much it seems.

Thank you for posting. I'm in the UK and had never heard of this significant protest.

It's hard to tell because of lighting, but...are they all mirroring Trump's blue suit look????

Indeed he did - no Tories, no Tory conflict over Europe 😆

Nice work, thank you. It matters so much. From a Cis woman.

Fair enough. But knowing this constituency, I'd genuinely still be surprised if they won it this time. Notwithstanding it is historically absolutely Labour. The Starmer issue, the Burnham issue...I don't think Labour are actually expecting to be able to hold onto it in their current state.

Lib Dems finished sixth in this seat in 2024 I believe, behind the Tories. Even allowing for a slight uptick in votes for Lib Dem in 2026 I don't think Greens would get many voters by such a pact here. Greens seem well placed to win the seat anyway, especially with Goodwin for Reform 😆

Nice pic she's chosen of herself, you can almost smell the sulphur as her tiny brain tries to compute.

It's honestly felt so good not seeing or hearing her all this time. Kind of exhausted already at the idea she's back on the scene.

'sketch' doesn't do that justice, it's beautiful!

It happened here, too. Former Labour leader Neil Kinnock and son Stephen were caught on camera lamenting the strong performance of the party under Corbyn in 2017 - "This presents us with a problem". But Labour had done enough to stop a Labour win though, preferring Torys to a left leaning socialist.

Starmer was the existential threat to Labour, it seems, and that ship has sailed!

"Oops, what am I like?"

'Scream, rant and rave like lunatics' you say Mr President? 🤔

Although anyone writing to Trump will have an eye on where their words will end up. We all have work colleagues we call rather than put something in writing, for the same reason. And what we do put in writing to them, we don't expect to remain 'private'.

You and Zack Polanski both. I totally agree.

'It's only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago'. I mean...I guess on that basis he'll be handing back the USA soon then??

Love this: "not a U-turn, just a tweak before a detailed consultation". From mandatory to not mandatory is a 'tweak' 😂

Testing the water to see how much can be got past the public? Answer in this case, that was a step too far. Also they're just really, really bad at this. And I don't think they understand any nuance among those expressing a Reform voting intention, yet are drafting policy based on them.

Ah, I see...and then he went on the list.
