yeah man I feel like everything is trying to go to magic single button presses, prompts that require no effort and no hill to climb, no muscle to flex. just atrophy being sold. and as far as a career I'm hoping I can pivot into something similar, use my hands, head, heart in smthng to give purpose

the insane push of it when I have never seen anyone ask for what they're trying to deliver and do the age old marketing technique of telling people they need something that isn't being asked for. there was a short blip where it felt like the humanitarians and dreamers in the room would steer it. 💀⚰️

thanks man. I am still grieving the loss of identity.. I had a 35+ year career in software testing and automation that is completely gone. I don't even want to use computers anymore. all I want to do is create art and music with my hands. I intend to shun any music software or hardware that uses it

preach! for a minute I was excited about some things but now vomit at the thought of it and everyone shilling it. when I find out anyone I respect uses it even for meme generation or participating in trends around it I get profoundly sad.

any and all legitimate uses of AI are getting pushed aside in the name of profit and making people irrelevant while execs fiddle with it on the shitter and think anyone can do anything with zero effort. it's a total scam and the ultimate theft of creativity.

2 years ago AI buzz took my job away. I tried to "go with the flow" and jumped into so-called "prompt engineering" and made all kinds of solutions that worked < 70% of the time. then unsurprisingly I got cut too. I am so disgusted with the usage of it and the gaslighting of those selling it.

did you all tour this record? my memory is shot but fondest is seeing you play in Provo UT (cant remember the yr). many of us were sat on the floor for the entire set. quiet as church. afterwards approached you and Mimi at merch desk and bought a pillow case that was embroidered. best tour merch! 🖤
