Started working on a home project the other night with Claude. Wife and I were having a conversation about budget and task lists and all of the stuff we drop the ball on. after talking with Claude a bit we started building a couples oriented text msg based adhd scheduler/helper.

Messing around with the new iteration of the Adobe podcast voice tool and its more naturalistic v2 is really great. I'm particularly impressed with how well it cleans up really old audio. That, combined with the new dialog model Play.ht launched and... man, it's crazy what you can do.

Time to make the proverbial doughnuts. Going to hop back in and start to figure out what I need to do to wrap some font stuff up and try to get some stuff wrapped up for release. Have a handful of tasks I'd like to still get done before the end of the year even if parts spill into 2025.

Just finished pitching some music direction and visual concept ideas for the next video. Got as positive of a response as I could have which is nice. I always like when the person you're pitching is interested enough that they almost end up cutting you off as they start riffing. "wait... "

NS Casual Script is my favorite font that I put together this year. It's got an absolutely absurd number of conditional ligatures that allows alternate glyphs to be used in After Effects. You can also see some of the other stuff I've had cooking in the background.

The first font pack that I need to get up and out the door is based on type from a vintage 1950s grocery store in rural Oklahoma. Fell in love with this slab font they used and felt like I needed to bring it to life. I've used it (and its companion fonts) a lot this year. Here're some samples.
