ok so Sara Bareilles and Jack Antonoff wrote the song together as a “love letter to a dear friend who was struggling to come out with her evolving sexuality” w lyrics like “maybe there’s a way out of the cage where you live”… then Sara sang “Brave” w taylor on the Red tour, TLDR she’s a gaylor heheh
