My riding of Etobicoke-Lakeshore understood the assignment and voted strategically, especially given how the PC clown was barely elected in 2022, but yes, it was an awful display of racing for second place by both opposition parties.

I also don't understand why the opposition parties could not get their shit together at the last election to stop splitting the vote. We could have been in a minority government had they been willing to talk to each other and then work as a coalition. It was infuriating to watch.

There were less than a dozen that the police had kept behind some barricades, but everyone mostly ignored them. I giggled at the irony of one of them yelling that the only flag that should be present was the Canadian flag as he waved both that one and the Israeli flag. Lots of police, no trouble.
