Something I’m still learning to get used to.

As someone who struggles with anxiety over their writing, I find the first few sentences to be the most daunting. It’s not easy to avoid the pitfalls of writing a bad beginning. It’s something that bothers me a lot and Something I really want to get right.

Honestly, the worst of the three. The story could be great but this is a major turn off. Often stops me reading a story at all.

Was supposed to be a jockstrap but doesn’t really look like that. But I don’t mind thinking about them the way you’re suggesting though.
