After 40 days of 40 gifts Monkey & @MrsBeardly have planned a surprise trip to Greece this week (always wanted to go) after a Zoo trip tomorrow (my fave family day out).

I know how incredibly lucky I am to be so loved & appreciated in todays world.

But content creation is just a constant dice roll. 🤷‍♂️ Yes, there are plenty of things you can do and advice to follow to have the best chances, but there's still very much a right place, right time element. So most importantly: 💪 Focus on staying passionate. 😍 Keep pushing out content you enjoy making. 👎 Don't let yourself get bitter/resentful/pass blame. And if you do land that nat 20... keep rolling, keep the cycle going or you end up back a square one! And if you're still only hitting those duff rolls despite doing everything right, just know it's not your fault, the VAST MAJORITY never get 'lucky'... but you do "gotta be in it to win it" so keep the cycle going IF you can still be passionate and have fun 🧡

Content creators have to adapt or drop off... 😳

We spend a lot of time talking about how Twitch used to be... the Bleed purple movement etc. Not only is this a bit of the looking back with rose tinted glasses effect but the landscape has just changed, as it constantly does. Looking back instead of forward will only hold us back. I DO miss that 'creator community' feeling but that doesn't mean that we cant adapt, enjoy and flourish in this space that seems much more geared towards personalities (raw IRL/chatting content). External discoverablitiy (more now than ever) and collaborative content with other creators (replacing CC communities). I'm excited for the future and I enjoy the challenge of constantly adapting my content although it does break my heart seeing friends grow bitter and frustrated when doing the same thing as they was 3+ years ago isn't working 🧡 A bit of random post... just been thinking about this a lot recently and self reflecting lol

Being a parent and creator during summer holidays is always a challenge on the creator side of things, but I LOVE getting to have the extra time with Monkey 🧡
