This is deeply alarming and signals what may await the residents of the Pliva Valley in central Bosnia and other regions across the Balkans, where mining companies, often backed by foreign capital, are conducting so-called “scientific excavations” as a prelude to opening mines.

Ok, now some more clarity on the terms of the US-RS deal were. Dodik, Cvijanovic, & many other persons & firms dropped from US Dept of Treasury's OFAC list. This has been "the dark matter" of the deal. Unclear if more below the waterline. May find out at UNSC this week. 😬

Genocide denial, if left unchallenged, does not fade. It evolves. The international community must confront not only what happened in the past, but what is happening now. As Stanton warned, denial itself is not the end. It is “among the surest indicators of further genocidal massacres.”
