Unfortunately scum got into my piece pretty heavily, but honestly?

I was the lead for pouring these!
Couple days ago but im still so fucking sore from how heavy it was

Even though the piece shattered- this is what it looked like mostly finished but before drying:

But honestly I think this is doing more GOOD than bad.

A) I can reclaim the clay since I caught it early enough

B) The kiln looks undamaged

C)I don’t have to fear my first kiln blow anymore

D) I can no longer participate in an event I was stressed about missing a deadline for

So, I had a bisque programmed into my kiln.

Unplugged the kiln for a bit and apparently it reset the programs?

Which means instead of ramping to 190 over an hour and holding for an additional 4hrs-

It was at almost 500 about an hour into firing.

Aaaaand with that I’m going tf to bed
