Life revolving around disability, MS, coffee, volunteering and home. All rather dull really.
My school did the Wizard of Oz in year 6.
I was a munchkin. Also the second tallest 11 year old girl. I looked ridiculous.

Breaking the food poverty issue is important but it not just about the children.
Affordable childcare so parents can work.
Then the cascade continues, for employers being able to increase their staff numbers…….

Yet more politicians gaslighting the general public. That’ll switch to the “can’t feed, don’t breed” brigade after the child benefit changes.

Money, butter and marriage. I’ll just have the first one please.

The off leash ones scare me.

I hope all is safe now.

I’ve lived in a few different walks of life, there’s no getting away from it.
My neighbour was red keyed a couple of years ago. The noise was horrendous and took them at least 5 minutes to gain access. Made it pointless. One quick flush, evidence gone.

Husband used to refer to his large record collection as his pension. No idea if they’re worth much. Hi-fi broke and not replaced. If I lived alone, I don’t think I’d bother with a Christmas tree.

Mine died a couple of days before our youngest 16th. He inherited all of his dad’s football shirts. The eldest has his many records. This was over a decade ago. I’m more than happy to have a minimalist approach, but during COVID and the boys having disposable income, they went online shopping.

I’m mid 50’s too but have 2 adult sons at home, dead husband. I have mine and their random shit too. I frequently purge but they get upset lol

My family have no other MS history. Just most other conditions!

It appears my MS isn’t typical. I’ve not relapsed for many years but the first few caused permanent damage. I don’t meet the criteria for DMD’s. I just slowly decline.
All power to you for the next 40 years!

Yes, he was. Still am with a stick. Obviously everything is harder but I manage.

I totally agree. 35 years ago, all I had was a booklet from the MS society to refer to. My consultant just said I’d still be walking in 10 years. No Dr Google back then, a blessing really.

I’ve wondered if early or late onset is better. Early, you grow with it and the limitations. Later, had a life but resent the changes.

Admin have a lot to answer for. They’re not protecting the younger ones but leading them away from reality.

What difference does it make. Some of these groups are akin to toddler groups, couldn’t stand those either.
