Someone once tried to hit me with their car; they drove directly at me and sped up. Renee Good, by contrast, was trying to drive *away* from the people who were rushing her car. It's not difficult to see the difference unless you're actively choosing to ignore it.

If she was actually driving towards them, shooting her would have caused her car to run over them. Instead, the car continued moving away from them after she was shot, because that's where it was pointed. Then it hit another car because she was no longer alive to control it.
