Knitting continues.

Home at last. Back to the 4am wakes……..slept well while away despite the stress. Hope your Christmas time is what you need it to be.

We’ve never done Father Christmas, (C was TERRIFIED of anyone/thing dressed up) and got told we were ruining Christmas for her. She never trampled anyone’s dream, we made sure of that. We do St Nick/Sinta Klaas and now 16, and she’s the best one.
On top of a wire rack on a pale wood kitchen worktop, a higgledy piggledy pile of star shaped cookies with the words Saint Nicolas printed in them. They are warm and smell of sweet spices.
