Had a few drinks out at the @toyoda.beer_fes - fun little event.
Six local breweries, some food trucks, perfect weather.

Seems like ages ago I've had a beer delivery..
Picking a brewery in Japan though is like picking your favourite child.
Nomcraft are up there, with some others coming later.
Can't wait to cycle down there later this year.

So sometimes I do silly things. Like cycling 30 km to pick up some beers from Mine Mart.
Sometimes I do stupid things. Like cycling 120 km down through Izu to get to Baird Brewery Shuzenji for my birthday.
Then I plan something like this.

Popped into Floc. Brewing in Canterbury - only to find out that they're now available in Japan thanks to Inn Beers. #craftbeer #tokyo

As much as I love drinking beer, and I love it, I also set myself a goal on NY Day to get 1000 km of running under my belt. Well I beat that goal 4.5 months quicker than expected. In spite of negativity early on in the year, I removed it from my life and got through. How much more is in the tank?

Had two beers from Our Brewing last night - the Bomb!! and Dino Kid. Two fantastic effort - Fukui really has been put on the craft beer map in Japan.

Stop #2 : the new craft rock taproom and sauna in Takao. I'm lucky that I get invited to these events. I don't accept all brewery invites and the stuff, but when you've got a sauna, I'm sold. Takao mountain house and here are a dangerous combo.

Stop #2 : Craft rock Taproom. Got invited to a pre-opening party but another great choice in Takao.

Stop #1 at TMH Coffee & Craft Beer. You'll need a bank loan to drink and eat here. Still, stunning scenery and deck.

Couple of lunch time beers out at Buso Brewery in Machida. Definitely a work in progress, but some solid beers on tap. If they can just tweak them with some QC then Machida could have a decent local brewery.

Been a while since I've had some Vertere. With 800+ breweries in Japan now, it's tough to drinks everything available. Both very good beers, and would happily drink them again.
