Thanks! I’m starting to develop an idea for a roguelike deck builder that adds rpg-like character (as opposed to just ability) development over successive runs, and trying to settle on an engine. From the devs I’ve talked to, Godot seems like a winner.

How do you find Godot vs other engines you’ve developed on/your own engines?

Love when it tells you _your_ understanding is getting better when you’ve corrected five consecutive straight up hallucinations from it.

Also: congrats!

Seems like I need to get my windows machine running!

The media is mostly owned by the same oligarchy, so it shouldn’t come as a shock…

It’s OK, La Niña is confirmed for the next year, so it’ll rain enough for them. And by the time El Niño rolls around again, this bubble will have burst, and the data centres will only require enough water to grow the tumbleweeds blowing through them.

Honestly sounds like the preamble to a new season of My Dad Wrote a Porno.

Motorola also apparently use AppCloud, so that’s probably the source of your issue.

Sadly, a) she’d probably never need to, thanks to publicity money; and even more sadly, b) this will mean nothing in our current media landscape.

Weird that ‘where Americans really are’ is lowering the age of consent…

Well, I was interested, but now I’m keenly interested!

Is this some unholy chess/balatro/reversi mashup?

Amazing writer, well deserved!
November 17, 2025 at 12:57 PM
No we don’t. It definitely is that second one.

Probably, you just never know what the deniers will seize on to score a point.

The only comment here is that climate models have been a much more reliable index of atmospheric degradation than BMI is a measure of obesity.

I mean - good if it reduces child slavery and other hideous components of the chocolate supply chain, but it does also play into the narrative that we can just overcome the consequences of environmental degradation with tech-based replacements. Let me have a coffee and think about it…

I remember as a kid a friend of mine used to get it instead of chocolate, and I tried it once, looked at him in horror and brought him a block of cadburys the next day…

This one IS a certified banger, though.

Threatening the world with a lifetime of carob instead of chocolate may just be enough to persuade it to eat the rich instead.
