Trumps appointment to take over the Eric Adams case, quit because the Trump Admin wants to dismiss the case to keep Adams in charge of NY, but they will dismiss without prejudice so they can keep him in line. So Trump wants a corrupt mayor in charge, so he can blackmail him into doing his bidding.
