Great. There were lots of tiny ones too on the same little tree. Such a fabulous colour. Here's a quick video. I spent ages watching them until they suddenly disappeared one day. Underground??

Lucky timing there! As for the temperature... 26° here today. 13° on Sunday! Hope that's not it for the warm stuff. Speckled Wood in the garden yesterday and several Orange Tip. I'm quite pleased with the 'wild' bit this year. 4 years in the making but coming on nicely!

Very nice too! Is that what I always call Lady's Smock? If so then that is early, I think. Been gardening this morning 4 orange tip and a Brimstone & first bluebells in flower. Shaky, blurry photo of a very lively and perfect Brimstone from this morning.
