I feel like they could’ve MAYBE made the highlight in the eye act like a pupil if they really wanted to make sure the audience knew where Bowser Jr. was looking… uhh idk if this is a good example but sometimes Cookie Run does this despite most of the characters not having actual pupils

Okay I don’t know HOW I forgot to mention this… Tim and Sabrina’s designs are also influenced by that cartoony trope of one “short and wide” character and a “tall and thin” character. I find this meme to be a really funny example that I was also actually thinking of when drawing Tim and Sabrina.
