I gotchu: spaetzl at the market, kaisercharrn (translated as “emporer’s madness”, like a shredded pancake for dessert), and pumpkin risotto from the Michelin starred airport hotel restaurant (I got stuck an extra night).

Not pictured: dumplings, bratwurst, gluhwine, and much great cheese!

Just landed in Munich, Santa was there, and the bag handlers (elves, I assume?) put these Santa chocolates in the handle of each one. I’ve never been so delighted in my life.

Listening was very on-brand this year. Everywhere has been my top jam lately. Cake forever. Being Dead was my fave band discovery at SXSW. Loved Texas Hold ‘Em. Taylor remains queen.

Sharing a presentation I gave yesterday at Figma, Building Your Network + Personal Brand. In it, I'm sharing my approach to networking and branding, why I think it's worth investing in, and concrete advice (including a couple of SMART goals).

Going through old notes on my phone and honestly still love the idea of MTV Cribs for tech stacks and architecture

This book was highly rec’d by a close friend of mine and even a quick flip-through at his house sparked so much discussion that my husband ordered me a copy mid-discussion. Started finishing (😉) today and love it so far — lots of concrete questions and exercises to apply.

Loved this. Connected stories and worlds centered on a new technology which allows you to access every memory you’ve had, and share them in exchange for access to the collective memory of anyone else who’d shared. My first time reading Jennifer Egan and won’t be my last.

This was haunting and definitely intense at times (I had to shelve it for a while and come back to it), but ultimately worth reading — a series of loosely connected stories about life after a plague.
