I need to paint the entryway to my house (I rent) because after five years, it’s looking sad. So I’m going to go to @habitatforhumanity.bsky.social in Seattle to get paint. It’s cheap and I’ll probably find a basic color that will keep my landlord happy. No need to go to Home Depot

I try to shop eBay for my sister when it’s cheaper than Amazon. She has a disability and is very low income.
I hate that we have to shop from these places which are so unethical, but there are times when money (or lack of it) makes the choice for you😔

As much as I detest Amazon, I shop there for my sister when there are no alternatives. She’s intellectually disabled and has limited income. I always check elsewhere first to see if it’s the same or cheaper. For people w/ disabilities and low income, it sometimes is the only choice🤬
