I think they are hitting their intended targets Mark. The problem is that what they are aiming at (and hitting) is not what they say they are aiming at. When it gets called out as unbearably stupid they call it a mistake.

This the Senator who said earlier that the three branches of the government were the Senate, the House, and the Executive. I am embarrassed that he is the former football coach where I went to college and more embarrassed than that for the citizens of Alabama. It is some high-octanfe MAGA though.
