I don't think it was just Republicans, rather those that feed off of conspiracy theories, perceived corruption, extreme misogyny, racism and fascism. Trump and MAGA fed those idiosyncrasies and made them feel justified and powerful in their hatred.

I'm 60, got a bubble gum machine for my birthday, can't take the time to configure it to give me gum for Free, ran out of coins, opened it up with a butter knife, why, because I too am stoned and looking for the lowest calorie sweet, which is gum🥳
