The Greens might take Starmer's seat.

As a Green party member I'd like to thank Shabana Mahmood for increasing our membership and support.

The policy of 'out Reforming, Reform' has massively helped us increase our membership, and support in recent opinion polls. It helped us win two council seats last week and has helped us beat Labour in recent opinion polls.

Thank you
Mark

What the BBC needs in my opinion is somebody who will challenge those who run the state, those who have previously run the state.....and also those who aspire run the state.

A latter day Hugh Greene, for instance. It is quite likely that a new DG will be brought in from outside the organisation, perhaps someone who has never worked for the BBC... It might even be someone from abroad.

Victoria Derbyshire is an example.

The difficulty which Reform faces is the possibility that a journalist, which Tim Davie wasn't, might be appointed as his replacement. That replacement might be somebody who sees the BBC as an organisation to rock boats....

I can't remember the saga of 'that house' in Clacton ever being featured on any BBC news. The issue hasn't been bias towards Reform, but a failure to scrutinise Reform and ask difficult questions. Thankfully there are some seasoned journalists who will hold Reform to account,

As a retired BBC journalist, there are some editorial problems, mainly from a failure to question hard enough and a failure to challenge. But much of the BBC is balanced, sometimes excessively.

I'm ashamed to say that I bought a Tesla powerwall battery before Elon went mad.

At the very heart of this is the media. At the very centre of their job is the duty to question, a failure to do this enables fascism.

We must fight its emergence once again and the first step in that is recognition....

It will take more than a man waving a piece of paper declaring 'peace in our time'.

So when Nigel (himself descended from a family of refugees) complains about refugees....he needs to look at bit closer to home.

Starting with William the conqueror....he was French, then there's George the first....he was German, King William the third.....he was Dutch....lots of royal wives were, and are foreign too....even to this day.

It is highly likely that some media outlets, some of the non mainstream media outlets are digging deeply, and some of the less savoury elements of Reform UK will be exposed - sexual or financial.

There is a strong possibility that exposure of sex offenders will ultimately be the undoing of Reform UK.

Sex scandals and financial scandals will be the undoing of Reform.
