another weekend in london this time hanging around the City. definitely want to go back with my film camera and a tripod as we’re getting to that time when everything is getting bleaker

The distortion of the rooms and confusing of the staircase kind of reminds me of the 2020 era of AI images? Where it’d spit out images that look like something until you look closer, and the more you interrogate it the more it looks like nothing at all 23mm black and white photo of the Lloyd’s building from street level. and i’m partial to Pheonix 200, it’s a bit hit and miss but i’ve gotten some fun portraits on bright days but on cloudier days everything gets very red and crushed

hi!! i’m if you’re going somewhere sunny, fuji 200c is a nice affordable film that gives a pleasant nostalgic look (i’m pretty sure it’s rebadged Kodak Ultramax but it’s cheaper here)

it’s never been easier or cheaper to use an old laptop or slap together a computer to have on in your house, i used to run stuff off my old pi0 and it was a really fun and goofy place to start
rasberry pi 0W with a series of cables and connectors running into it, this is what i used to run my server off of with 2 hard drives!

one thing i wish was less daunting to people is running a home server, it’s incredibly easy to run a VPN to your house so you can access self hosted websites for photos, budgeting, file storage, etc

my friends got married last weekend and asked me to take photos and i’m so happy with how they turned out i had such a blast

just got my pushed black and white film back and i love how much more contrasty it is than box speed!!

last photo was with the orange filter i picked up in chicago and i really like how it turned out vs the non filtered version!

just got my roll of phoenix 200 back and really like the colours
