Saw mixed reviews on Invoking Yell, but I honestly enjoyed it. It meandered for sure, but it got there.
Best part: the ladies see a tree with jagged, leafless branches all intersecting with one another & one says “Hey what band is that?” Gave me a good chuckle.

Saw “Companion” recently & I have to say, I’m loving Sophie BATHSHEBA Thatcher’s rise as a “scream queen.” Also that she’s a Chicago girl, which I only discovered today. Anyway, she’s great in this.

Watching Gregg Araki’s “Nowhere”…The stacked 90s cast, the soundtrack (so much Filter), the fashions, the colors, the aliens, the valley speak, the horniness, the piercings, and the sheer kookiness of Nowhere is why it will forever be one of my favorites. Nearly every shot of this movie is just art.
