A better move would be to give a decent platform to those in the Jewish community that are also calling out the genocide. Instead of pretending that being against the genocide is the same as anti-semitism. Show unity against tyranny, do not prop up the tyrants wtf.

They have already been trying their hardest to equate supporting Palestine with antisemitism for some time. It’s no suprise they would jump at this opportunity to spread misinformation to try and justify their claims.

The bravery (and integrity) needed to come much earlier, now it’s not even the hard questions it’s just questions getting called brave. Yes he is a fully realised dictator and knows what media he doesn’t already own is of little consequence. Australia may end up the same the way for the same reasons

I mean have you seen how newscorp (Murdoch an open supporter of Trump) has been set the news agenda in multiple countries? For YEARS. So many the ABC included have often parroted talking points and neglected to cover so many important things, to avoid slander of bias from the same Murdoch rags .

What gave you the idea I supported Trump? Like at all?I am left wing. Commenting on how journalists have pandered to extremists like him for so long that he is empowered to imply the simplest issues are inflammatory. They enabled it to get this bad when they failed to hold maga to account earlier.
September 18, 2025 at 11:27 AM
Yep, you’re probably right. However despite all the red flags they are still acting surprised when extremism is on the rise and act as if they aren’t at least partly responsible for it.

Thing is the question wasn’t even about a contentious issue. It wasn’t even that brave. Just shows how far journalism has fallen.
September 17, 2025 at 1:22 AM
We absolutely have reached that point. The media everywhere is just following the example of news corp, towing the line, selling the narratives he wants, not asking the important questions or talking about issues he doesn’t want talked about. He keeps carrying on lile this because it works for him!!

I mean I am still a registered organ donor , but at this point I have a list of chronic medical conditions (mostly genetic) I don’t think anyone would want my organs.. but if any part of me turns out to be useful the option is still there…

Who even cares what the coalition has to say anymore? They become more irrelevant by the day, with their simping for the fascists in the USA.

Tbh most of us are ready for a new opposition made up of teals, greens and other independents. MPs that value trade partners that give back, like China.

NGL whenever I hear the song “fictional men” by Peggy I think of you a Staff haha , but that song itself proves you are not alone. Tbh I think it’s pretty normal for anyone who is fanning over a series, doesn’t matter that it’s your own.

Hardly , the only ones that seem to “change” are the ones impacted personally. Still the same selfish arseholes without empathy for others. They actually just thought it would not apply to them, they still support it happening to others.

Instead he had “free Ghislaine Maxwell” advocates at marg-a-largo.

Just goes to prove it was never about it being viable for business. It was about motivation. Even now I am sure they are only insisting people go back to justify middle management and investment in office realestate.

It’s crazy, as a disabled person who really benefits from “work from home” before covid they made out like this adjustment was far too difficult, which prevented many of us from doing full time hours. Then covid happened and it affected everyone. Suddenly it could be done virtually overnight.

Anyone who buys they are capable of changing is a fool. They will say whatever they think will win them votes but once they are elected will behave the same way they always have - licking the boots of billionaires, enabling all kinds of exploitation then scapegoating marginalised people.

100% our laws are so weak and full of loopholes they are basically worthless. Most just exist so there is an APPEARANCE of consideration for the environment, but rarely does it come with any meaningful protections .
