I find the map pretty repetitive and boring. You're stuck in the small city map with even smaller "wild areas" that lack pokemon variety. A lot of people seem to enjoy the new combat, but it's also not for me :(

Never played those! Will have to give it a try!

I think I would be better off emulating some older games, or doing rom hacks bc the game quality is just so poor these days ☹️
