I found this plant growing out of a sewer grate and it reminded me that sometimes beauty and goodness can grow out of darkness. I needed that reminder when I was thinking about this troubled world.

I hope I can remember the resilience of this plant as we move into a very uncertain future.

Somebody put shoes on this previously footless crosswalk sign person, and I think that’s awesome. There’s kindness everywhere you look if you’re paying attention ✨🥾🥾✨

This is an (unfertilized) emu egg. The existence of this egg makes me certain of 3 things: 1) Emus are some kind of dinosaur/fairy hybrid 2) This egg has bestowed magical powers upon me that I haven’t yet discovered, and 3) I feel so honored to live in a world where magical emu eggs exist
