It’s not wonderfully staged and is literally sitting on my kitchen counter, but it’s pretty, and iconic….made by my Aunt Helen back in the late 70s….and it was my mother’s…and it will always bring me back to the special Christmas memories of my childhood.

We were at the Lindsay Golf and Country Club this morning for the Lindsay District Chamber of Commerce Breakfast. We brough along a mini pop-up version of an exhibit we curated earlier this year for the Kawartha Lakes Police Service.

We are proud to announce that our exhibit "The Old Mill" has won the Ontario Historical Society's 2023-24 Dorothy Duncan Public History Award! This exhibit combined on-site, travelling, and virtual components to explore the history of one of Lindsay's historic mills.
