We have 10 chickens in our large urban backyard, but 2 days ago 1 escaped. We thought she'd fed a neighborhood dog, and today we had terrible storms, flooding, and wind. I asked for the prayers of St. Modestos and then on our way out of the neighborhood, there she was. 🙏🏼❤️ 🐔 ☦️

The amazing thing about Orthodox Christianity is that it's the most sublime, beautiful doctrine and there are so many people incandescent with the radiance of God and it's also a deeply screwed up place with a lot of pain and dark history and fracture
