Been thinking a lot today about how entertainment can be easily mistaken for expertise. The people who become "thought leaders" are more often people who are charismatic but still repeating things and not the producers of knowledge or fully knowledgeable about what they're saying.

The incentive is also to make more videos about more subjects gradually drifting further from things they're actually knowledgeable about without taking the time to fully understand a subject. The audience, however, probably doesn't have the knowledge judge what's a credible source.
