Der Workshop spricht das Versagen akademischer Institutionen angesichts Israels Kriege in Westasien offen an und fragt zudem, wie wir selbst als Teil dessen Verantwortung für dieses Versagen übernehmen können. Ein gemeinsamer Raum für diese Auseinandersetzung ist ein wichtiger erster Schritt.

I just finished Le Guin’s The Word for World is Forest, and this one will stay with me. Le Guin dares to name violences many would leave unsaid. In it, dreaming becomes a site of resistance and meaning and while reading, I sometimes felt my own dreams grow more vivid too

Every day, brave people in Gaza still risk, and too often lose, everything to make sure we can witness; to give us the possibility of seeing and knowing, because we have the privilege of choosing what we allow ourselves to see and know. This is enough to label them a threat, a target to kill.
