I've just been to two brilliant shows, which just opened at the Royal West of England Academy, including one on Paule Vézelay—an artist I (shamefully) didn’t know before. Painter, sculptor, textile artist, war artist— what didn't she do? Such a creative force.

This brilliant work is a fitting tribute to someone whose contributions revolutionised science and healthcare, but it's also significance as the first public statue of a Black woman in the UK created by a Black woman artist. It embodies powerful messages of health equity and social justice!

Thrilled to start as Head of Engagement at the University of Bristol today.
I’ll be working to connect students and communities with the Library, the Theatre Collection, Special Collections and Public Art. Can’t wait to support Bristol in being an even more connected, creative, and inspiring city!
