I'll be at a Burns supper tonight! I have a friend from Scotland, and she hosts a Burns supper every year. Lots of whiskey, lots of tatties, poetry reading, and very loud bagpipes, which I love.

Whenever I think I'm selfish for having some "me" time, I remind myself that the benefits of my rest go to my kids, too. The old adage "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" is true!

The Catholic in me has to respond with "And also with you." As a kid in the 80s, I thought that was how you were supposed to end your prayers. 😂
