Also so great to see a new #walkto link at Dawes & Vic Park delivered by my ops unit. Instead of just resodding a worn path, we addressed the real issue, a strong desire line. Not only did we resolve a long standing maintenance issue, but we improved accessibility and connectivity.

It was wonderful to #biketo to University of Toronto Scarborough today to guest lecture a complete streets course. One of the best parts was seeing the start of construction on Scarborough Golf Club Road: www.toronto.ca/community-pe...

Couldn’t be prouder visiting the Port Union complete street. In 2021, I guided the design change from bike lanes to cycle tracks. Now seeing it being built and soon, my ops team will ensure it can be used year round. A rare chance to experience the full lifecycle: design → delivery → maintenance.

I can’t believe it’s been 7+ months since switching jobs. I like viewing my new maintenance role as an effort to restore the soul/pride of our city.This weekend we're fixing these concrete and letters - small details that have been broken for years.
