Great first day at #redux2025 with lots of discussion on research ethics, AI & peer review. Highlight was hearing Sarah Ogilvie share her amazing research on Gen Z lexicon & the history of OED, & advocate for scholars to consider their research data as a valued resource @alpsp.bsky.social

Daily #MLA25 #MLA2025 updates slipped as days 2-4 were packed with more engaging panels & catch ups with old & new connections ✨ Common thread: serious considerations about the future of research & scholarly orgs. Also 3 beignets is slightly too much for a snack but 1 leaves you wanting more

Day 1 at #MLA25 ⚜️🎭 a sunrise run, overdue catch ups and all round excellent panels on (im)moral subjecthood, rethinking academic forms, African American literary study in the 2020s and the future of humanities funding. Roll on day 2 🤩
