Based on my admittedly limited statistics, grumpy guys with hearts of gold are extremely popular! Especially if they're also some combo of tall, dark, and handsome. ;)

But I still think if RPGs are gonna take the time to add romance... try consulting with a specialist!

Writing romance that's positive *and* exciting is a skill. Part of the issue imo is that game companies seem to be reluctant to bring romance genre specialists on board. I've seen so many game romances make mistakes that genre specialists would know to avoid. But we're undervalued.

There is soooo much going on with Lucanis. Trauma and PTSD. Workaholism. Reluctance to get into a relationship due to what happened to his family. He's not *necessarily* demisexual in canon.

Oh for sure, and I personally do write Lucanis as demi. But more could and should have been included to honor that identity (doubt it was Kirby's fault tho') like with other identities celebrated in the game. And again I think it's fair to write him otherwise.

I know it's a particularly fraught issue when it comes to identity statements like Lucanis being a virgin and demisexual. Neither of which are stated in the game. I feel like, awesome, run with that if you like it but don't yell at people who don't use it.

Oh, that general "canon" comes from dev statements outside the game. Which I personally feel free to ignore in general but some people get hung up on them.

I think you're doing fantastic! Anatomy is so hard, and already your shading looks really good. (I'm someone who has the theoretical knowledge to be a good artist, but lacks the patience and passion to follow through with the practical skill. I admire everyone putting in the work.)

I guess I didn't get touched because I didn't use the tabs/indexing. I use the old-school labels that you manually apply and my spam box is just my spam box. I was too old-school to lose any features I use. :-p

That's odd. I've had Smart Features off for ages, checked and they're still off, and my spam is still sorting fine. I didn't use the inbox tab system, though, just the regular, ancient spam sporting.
