Here’s to Jamie, in our employer locker room- we worked out at the same time 25 years ago and we’re both back in the gym as empty nesters; to Jen B, who I saw at a healthcare provider; and to the ladies at Pilates who tell each other how strong we are. Being strong is our own form of resistance.

An amazing speaker at work talked about the importance of reflection. Those who reflect are more likely to grow. He suggested reflecting for 5 minutes and writing (by hand, EVERYDAY) 1) what went well, 2) what didn’t go well, 3) what have I learned?
