I'm delighted to say the wallpaper has now been lovingly preserved for the future for The University of Huddersfield by Louise Drover and looks absolutely stunning.

It's not everyday as an Archivist that you get to don a hard hat and visit an historic building site but I have been on site weekly if not daily at times helping to oversee the preservation of this historic find.

I visited this summer for the first time. It was beautiful and extremely interesting. The recreated monks house for instance would suit me fine!
