It makes me so sad that so many never take the time to imagine what else could be. We are on a rock, floating through space. So much of what surrounds us is made up and can be re-made. Don't let how things are stop you from imagining and working towards new/better ways of being.
Imagine a network of worker-owned cooperatives that ensures all their workers are safe from the perils of unemployment. If a worker has to be laid off for whatever reason, the co-ops cooperate to find a position within another co-op. If no position is available, they provide unemployment benefits.

Librarians are going to be your conduits to community education and liberty with all these cuts to education. Fight like Hell to keep your libraries going. Show them support. Get library cards, and if your states and towns aren't protecting them, MAKE NOISE.

Came across this post a few weeks ago and cannot stop thinking about it every time I pack up for orchestra rehearsal
Some instruments are just, like, instruments. Piano is for people who want to play a piece of furniture. Bass is for masochists who want to play the furniture and then load it in their car when they’re done.
(And organ is for people who want to play architecture.)
