To the memo writers: Someone you care about was raped, abused by an intimate partner, and/or sexually abused as a child. Your wife, daughter, grandson, best friend, niece or nephew. Maybe it happened years ago. Maybe it’s happening now. They deserve support - the kind that relies on grant funding.
